Dublin, 3rd July 2013 – Air Contractors has signed a contract with Aer Lingus to operate three Boeing 757 aircraft on transatlantic routes between Ireland and New York, Boston and Toronto.
Air Contractors is very pleased to announce that it will be wet leasing three Boeing 757 aircraft to Aer Lingus for transatlantic routes beginning in January 2014. The three aircraft will be operating routes from Shannon and Dublin to New York, Boston and Toronto.
This is a natural extension of the existing passenger operations that Air Contractors has been flying for several years. The additional capabilities in the ACMI passenger market are seen as key to the future expansion of the airline.
It is anticipated that this new venture will generate a total of 200 new jobs across all the parties involved
