ASL was delighted to host the ISPCC (Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) at our Swords offices for a coffee morning to launch a partnership which marks the formation of our first Employee Resource Group – a Parenting Network.
Brían Sparks & Siobhan Harvey from the ISPCC attended our offices to deliver a seminar to ASL employees on the challenges the ISPCC are currently dealing with and the most common issues children growing up today are experiencing. It was a very informative morning for everyone which saw a great turnout of ASL staff. The ISPCC have very practical online tools to help deal with various issues from bullying, online safety, mental health, co-parenting, etc. which we cannot speak highly enough of.
ASL are delighted to have recently organised fundraising on behalf of the ISPCC in Swords Pavilions & have also pledged to sponsor the cost of running the Childline facility for a day.
We look forward to this ongoing partnership with the ISPCC. Thank you to Brian & Siobhan once again from everyone in ASL!
