K-Mile Asia

Thailand’s first cargo express airline

K-Mile Asia became Thailand’s first cargo express airline when it was established in 2004. The airline now provides both scheduled and charter cargo flights to Southeast Asia and other routes within the region. Its business model is focused on the needs of air express, courier and postal companies who require customised charter cargo transportation

In addition to its scheduled operation, the airline continues to offer charter flights across its network serving Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore.

K-Mile Air’s current fleet comprises two Boeing 737-800 BCF (Boeing Converted Freighters) and three Boeing 737-400s which operate the growing Asian airfreight market.

The airline operates a five days per week scheduled service for DHL and in addition K-Mile offers bespoke cargo charter flight services to its other customers from its home base in Bangkok and from Hanoi, Jakarta and Phnom Penh.

Farnair Switzerland AG acquired a 45% share in K-Mile Air in March 2014 and in July of that year the first B737-400SF joined the fleet. ASL Aviation Holdings acquired Farnair and K-Mile in December 2014 and since then has added B737-400 and B737-800 to the K-Mile’s fleet.
