Dublin, 28th September 2016 – ASLI have launched yet another project with Aer Lingus and as of two weeks ago we now operate a daily B757 service to Connecticut.
The inaugural flight EI131 to Hartford Connecticut, took off Wednesday the 28th September from Dublin at 2.40pm. Thanks to ASLI, this service puts Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (KBDL) back on the trans-Atlantic map by giving the region its first nonstop link to Europe in eight years.
This service not only creates a direct connection between Connecticut and Ireland, it further establishes Dublin as the natural transatlantic gateway to Europe for those travelling from North America.
The inaugural flight was operated by our Chief Pilot Captain Con Murphy and First Officer Arthur Hunter Nolan who received a true céad míle fáilte from Bradley airport by the display of the iconic water canon arch.
A promising future lies ahead for the Dublin-Bradley route and we in ASLI are delighted to be a part of it.
